   Mike Norris - Managing Director

For over 26 years, Mike Norris’ career has been focused on providing companies with strategic business and market planning, information systems implementation, operational improvement, marketing, public relations, investor relations, business development, and supply chain integration at Fortune 1000 companies.

He has worked on 5 rollups involving 5 to 56 acquisitions of small to mid-size companies helping them standardize inventory, consolidate inventory, integrate operational processes, integrate customer/supplier databases and integrate financial/accounting systems. Mike has also launched 4 start-ups, the last of which was for Microsoft.

Mike has worked as a VP of Corporate Development, VP/Director of Strategy and Enablement, Director of Business Development, Director of Information Systems, Director of Research and Development, Strategic Planning Manager, Project Manager, and International Product Development. Companies that he worked for include CardioVascular BioTherapeutics, Phage BioTechnologies, Microsoft, Modem Media, KPMG, Sunbelt Integrated Services, AgriBiotech, Digitas, Motorola, Army Corps of Engineers, Tech-Sym, and Shell Oil Company.

For seven years, Mike was a Senior Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick in the Strategic Services, Operations Improvement, Call Center, Sales Force Automation, Activity Based Costing and Supply Chain Management practices.  During his time with KPMG, Mike led over 21 projects in operations improvement, 22 Activity-Based Management engagements, and four ERP implementations.  Client issues included operating cost reduction, supply chain management, logistics, capacity utilization, service delivery improvement, database consolidation, competitive market strategies, customer segmentation models, process optimization, organizational restructuring/redesign, turnarounds, and product development management. 

Mike received a B.S.E.E. and an M.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana, an M.B.A. from the Cameron School of Business, University of St. Thomas, Houston, and an Executive Education at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.

Mikeal Flaa - Managing Director

Mr. Mickael A. Flaa   Mr. Flaa is a CPA with 32 years of successful business experience in both domestic and foreign markets. His qualifications include CFO of public and private companies, partner at KPMG, turnaround manager, financial and management consultant, expert witness and member of the Board of Directors of public and private companies.  

His hands on experience have taken him through many areas of expertise, including 28 industries within 8 sectors, and virtually all phases of a company’s life cycle. Mr. Flaa has lead competitive strategy analysis, business planning, start-ups, corporate financing at all stages, SEC registrations, corporate downsizings, restructurings, bankruptcy filings, operations as debtor in possession, reorganizations, liquidations, divestitures, acquisitions and mergers.

Mike received his undergraduate degree from Central Washington University.

Corey Flaa - Director

Corey is a serial entrepreneur and consultant with experience in management, business development, strategy, business planning, restructuring, acquisitions, due diligence, financing, forecasting, scenario planning, competitive and economic research, public and private financings, public filings, international operations, Native Nations business development, market analysis, and relationship management.   

Corey is an owner of an Indian Gaming Company. Prior to this, he was engaged in O&M analysis for Del Webb Corporation, marketing and sales for Prudential Securities Incorporated and Prudential Americana Group, and M&A due diligence and financing for Sunbelt Integrated Trade Services, Inc., where he participated with the management team in a venture which grew from zero to $300 million revenue run rate with a 10% EBITDA margin in just 18 months, resulting in the creation and realization of shareholder value. Additionally, Corey has worked with Alaskan Native Corporation 8(A) entities re-aligning strategies resulting in entities that have grown to over $100 million in revenue.   

Corey is a graduate of Babson College with an emphasis in real estate, economics, and entrepreneurial studies.

Frank Erzinger - Director

Frank Erzinger brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy and operations improvement. As a consultant with McKinsey and KPMG, Mr. Erzinger gained immeasurable expertise in converting strategy to hands-on, measurable operations performance improvements. He has extensive experience in activity-based costing and process reengineering which he has used effectively to improve supply chain efficiencies in the chemical industry. He has worked in the US, Europe, Far East and Middle East.  

Mr. Erzinger received his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and University of Southern California respectively. He also obtained an MBA from the University of Houston.

His professional affiliations are with the National Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the American Production and Inventory Control Society.

Kirk Johnsong - Director

With over 18 years of successful business technology experience at both private and public companies, Kirk Johnsong got his start in the technology field while working with Ernst & Young LLP.  Most recently, Kirk has held executive positions with publicly traded companies.  His focus has been technology systems, specifically technology compliance with FASB, federal/state/local tax, the FDA, and Sarbanes-Oxley.

Kirk has direct experience with creating information systems strategies, system designs, systems management, technology standards, and developing operational guides for system support. He has successfully completed accounting and operational system roll-ups, building to a common set of processes, controls, and chart of accounts.  He also has extensive experience configuring and implementing inventory management and reconciliation systems, business intelligence systems, order entry, and order fulfillment systems.

Kirk earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
